Heavy duty equal balance scale. Has a sliding ounce weight for reading weight from 0-16 oz. by 1/4 oz. Includes a 1# and 2# Iron weight. Heavy construction, measures 23" wide, 10" deep. 7" high, both pans are 9" diameter. Reads perfectly and is in great working condition. I don't know how much weight you could put on it, but I would guess it's good for whatever you could fit on the pan, and whatever you have for a weight, 30 pounds at least.
